Sunset Remix of "Run to You" w/ Robbie Rivera

And a beautiful sunset video featuring the lovely Veronica Harvey

A week and a half ago, over with my Catholic project, we released this video with the beautiful Veronica Harvey. This is more of an “outtakes” video focused just on the gorgeous sunset shots for the remix with DJ Robbie Rivera, who I’ve been happy to be extensively collaborating with over the last year, with hopefully much more to come.

We’ll be finishing up the regular video for the original track as well usually more of the formal choreography, but I was very happy to share these incredible landscape shots with Veronica by McCall McClellan. As I’ve often said, there is so much talent, and I love that CASSIA & MYRRH has become a little hub for that talent: first shoots of a growing garden of beauty, excellence, and creativity.

The first one we did together was a “Silent Night” remix, fitting for the season:

And the one we released last spring, written originally for a woman who lost her husband in 2020 and whose story became intertwined with the project in a beautiful if sobering way:

Life is always full with so many behind-the-scenes projects that continue to grow and develop (always wish I could share more), but the artist is deep in me and the creation continues, always with the hope that beauty and good things can act as a salve for us in the face of so much constant sensory overload and stress. I consider it always a great privilege to be an artist. And it’s thrilling to watch more and more artists of various media gather around these projects, collaborating to make serious art together.
